About This Publication
This publication exists for one simple reason: the decisions made in distant rooms by people you will never meet increasingly determine the safety, prosperity, and freedom of your daily life. Most Americans are told about these decisions only after they fail. Often, they are never told at all.
For more than five decades, I have lived inside the worlds where those decisions are made and executed - special operations, intelligence, irregular warfare, crisis action, and quiet diplomacy. I have seen firsthand how strategy is formed, how it is sold to the public, how it is misrepresented, and how its consequences are paid for by ordinary people who had no voice in the process.
National Security Impacts Your Security is not a newsletter about headlines. It is a publication about power, risk, deception, incentives, and consequences.

About the Author
Ken Robinson is a former U.S. special operations and clandestine operations officer with decades of experience in intelligence, crisis action, irregular warfare, and strategic advisory roles. After his government service, he worked as an international journalist and has been involved in Track II diplomatic efforts, strategic risk analysis, and national security commentary.
He has spent his career operating at the intersection of operations, intelligence, and strategy, and now writes to explain how those worlds actually work - and why their failures increasingly shape everyday life.
